Do you wrap and pack everything, or just carry it?
We wrap everything. Nothing goes on the truck until it is shrink-wrapped, bubble-wrapped, or under a moving blanket, and Amanda’s crew can pack the whole home or just the fragile things. It is all in your flat price, and we can point you to storage if you need it between homes.
How is the flat price kept firm?
Amanda sizes up your actual belongings and how hard the access is, quotes you one number, and honors it. So long as the load is what you described, move day comes in at that same flat price, with no ticking meter, no mileage add-on, and nothing rounded up.
Do you move antiques and pianos?
Yes, and their handling is baked right into your flat price. Antiques are our calling card; pianos, curio cabinets, glass, and the other fragile, oversized pieces are shrink-wrapped, padded, and carried by a crew that guards them like their own, so the delicate things arrive just as they left.
How do you keep floors, walls, and belongings safe?
We roll runners across the floors, pad the casings and railings, and shrink-wrap or blanket every piece before it moves, so the old place and the new one both come out clean and nothing picks up a scratch.
How much notice should I give?
A week or two of lead time covers most moves, and month-ends and the busy summer stretch go first. If a crew has room we will still take a last-minute or next-day job, so it is always worth ringing Amanda.
